He was with us in the unit for about 2 months. He has become special to me. At first it was a tune I hummed to him. And then it became this song, this lullaby. In my heart I know it helped him. He had problems... and he cried a lot.
It's been a month since he left us and I miss him so much. Funny thing is I can't bring myself to sing this song to another baby. It just doesn't feel right.
He's probably in a foster home now. I hope he is. And I hope he found some really good people.
I hope he found some who will hum him a tune.

awwww... I also hope he is being taken care by nice people. babies should be loved and cared for...
hindi bale, I am sure you will find another nice lullaby to sing to another little one who will need your tender loving care. :-)
Coincidence kaya na napadalaw ako ngayon? We just learned this morning that our friends' baby passed away over the weekend. He made it to one month in the NICU unit and he probably had a nurse singing him lullabies while his parents were away too. Thank God for caring and compassionate nurses.

i remember a line from The little price tha goes like this..
"In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night... you, only you, will have stars that can laugh!"
Jet i know that you and your little angle, wherever he may be, has each star that only both of you can understand, laugh about, love and feel..
