life here in SG is very safe and simple. Jay's home before
7, we sometimes get to walk together to buy our dinner, we have time to
relax, and play, and talk, and laugh. Selfish me but still... that's all I
really need. The visits... we can probably do that in the future too. But
visits will be enough for us.

For me, the big corker in everything you said is that we won't be able to
save a lot. We want to go back to the Phils. after the ratrace and live a
quiet comfortable life and we're giving ourselves 10 years tops. That's why
saving is so important for us right now. I want him to retire early... so he
has the time to try out things he's always wanted to do and enjoy everything
that he's worked for before he gets too old to do so. If we won't accomplish
that by going to the States, then I think it's no option.
