The Ring

This is the first scary movie I've watched in a long, long while. In the end, I had to make logical connections between events to make sense of the things that happened in the story... I just thought, the minute it made sense to me, then I wouldn't be so scared anymore and I can take it off my mind.
I did get a fright from one of the scenes... so frightened I gave a yelp... a single, unmistakable scream in a theaterful of viewers... oh, bless the dim lights.
There was one scene where Rachel (the main character) was dreaming about this dead little girl who was causing all the havoc. The girl was sitted on a chair in the middle of the room with her back to the door. Rachel was at the door, approaching the girl slowly. When she was right behind her, she reached out an arm to touch her (maybe on the shoulder) but the girl's hand reached out much faster and grabbed her arm. At this, Rachel screamed... and so did I... and then Rachel woke up from the dream... but for me, there was no coming out of my shame... :(
Lord of the Rings 2... The Twin Towers

It was nice, with a lot of new characters and fancy battle scenes. Generally, it's a feel good movie, with all the forces of good... man, elves, trees... coming together to fight evil.
One particular scene made me cry. This was when the 'king' (forgot the character's name) got out of the spell and learned that his son has been killed. He said. 'No parent should have to burry his child'... and then he cried with a pain so intense I felt it... and so I cried too.
Well, that's me at the movies... I'll scream, I'll laugh, I'll cry... that is, when Papa doesn't have his hands held up to cover my eyes whenever there's a danger of me seeing snakes... I dread snakes!
