It's 12:11 am. Right this minute, Papa is still airborne... in a little less than 1 1/2 hours, it will be touch down.
I've cleaned the room and the bathroom, changed the sheets and earlier on, cooked sopas which will be his very, very late supper or very, very early breakfast...:). I'm the only one up kasi nga I'm waiting for him. I've got nothing else to do so I'm here.
It will be a surprise if he would have any more stories left to tell me cause he has told a lot through his emails. But I guess I won't be surprised at all. Of course there will be more stories. And I'm so excited to hear them. It will also be the first time I'll see him in his first tailor-made suit and I'm so excited to see that too. It's actually his second suit, but the first one we just bought off the racks and it wasn't as nice. It's just as well cause it didn't last long either. Now this one he really loves. He has sent me pictures he took of himself wearing the suit, but needless to say (so why am I saying it?) it will be different to see him in person clad in it. Although I'm not sure if he will still be wearing the jacket all the way home from the airport cause the temp here in SG will be a hell of a lot different from that of Japan. Of course the cab will have an ac but not the elevator coming up to the flat. The sad thing is we weren't able to make the ac repair man come today so the ac in the room is still busted. Poor Papa, I hope he doesn't have such a terrible time sleeping.
You know, I actually don't have anything to say... I'm just making this journal keep me company. But maybe I'll give it a rest now and play a game or read a book or something. Hey, I tried this game which I saw on the website of somebody who visited our site...it's a simple game but it's tons of fun. It's called Fling the Cow. Maybe I'm gonna play this. Oh well...
Question: Why does time drag ever soo sssllllooooowwwwwwlllllllyyyyyyyy when you're waiting for someone or something, and not when you're trying to finish a task or beat a deadline? Why is it that as boring as waiting is, you still do it? And why do we wait for people who we know will come anyway, whether we wait for them or not?
Ok... enough with the questions. I'm off..... to Oz for the answers... teehee...
