It was a lot of fun. Really, really fun.
Papa and I decided we wanted to watch a movie. But then, Troy was no longer showing, Shrek and Day After Tomorrow (which Christine said was not good) only had morning screenings, which was too early for us. There was Harry Potter, but I wasn't so hot to see it, and there was Punisher (which Leah said wasn't nice either).
Since we were running a little late due to some errands, we opted to pass up on the movie and eat at Mos Burger insted, something we've missed when we were in the Phils. Have you tasted their rice burgers? I especially like their Ebi burger. And their french fries are the best so far.
Then came the time we were to meet with Christine and hubby Ronald. Venue was at this asian restaurant in Lucky Plaza, called GP, where they had the best crispy pata I have had so far. Turns out they frequent the place too, and yes, we both like the same dish. We talked about a lot of things, mostly about Singapore and our experiences here... a true meeting of Pinoys away from home.
Incidentally, we met up with another blogger last May. Wasn't able to blog about it because I was really going bonkers those days. So I'd like to mention, at this point, our EB with Mari here in Singapore, when we took her for dinner at Marche. She's a lady I truly admire for her strength of character and her no-nonsense way of dealing with life.
Now back to the main program... heh. By 8pm, we had to bid the nice couple goodnight as we were off to Nona's birthday. It was a fun party, I remember laughing a lot and I haven't done that for as far back as I can remember... the all-caution-thrown-to-the-wind kind of laugh. Thank you guys for inviting us. Really glad we came.
We didn't get to play pictionary and Daphne didn't get to sing. Those were two things I was looking forward to. But then, the laughter more than made up for it.
