Here in Singapore, there are only three types of cars used as cabs (that I know of)... the Toyota Corolla (the old, box-type model), the Mercedes Benz and the London Cab.
99.9% of the time, you'd find yourself riding the Toyota Corolla. They're usually alright, clean, spacious and comfortable, driven by very nice and friendly drivers. Sometimes they'd even smell like a new car smells.
The Benz may be a Benz but there's nothing spectacular about it. It feels the same as riding the Toyota Corolla. Probably, I would have felt the difference if I was seated behind the wheel, driving.
Tonight, I had my first ride in a London Cab. Weeee! I've been waiting three years to ride in one. It's sooo different, so spacious I could have danced the swing with Papa in there. I could stretch my legs or ride it backwards if I wanted to. Oh what can I say... there was all these room! Vrooommm!!!
I should have gotten a picture.
