I have a YM account but I hardly ever log in. Guess I've lost my appetite for it. Last Sunday though, being all alone with nothing to do, I did, just to see if I had any messages. So I found that there's, yet again, an upgraded version. I upgraded and gee, it's really got some nice new features in it.
Guess what thrilled me most. The games!!!
So I was just now playing Text Twist. For those who are not familiar with it, the game gives you six letters and the object is to form words with it, anywhere between 3-letter to 6-letter words, in a span of 2 minutes or something. If you manage to use all the letters in a single word, then you stay in the game.
One game presented me with these letters... f, d, i, e, n and k.
I was running out of time and I still haven't come up with the 6-letter word. In frustration, I made a wild guess.
'FINK'
And b-low me down, there IS such a word. It was just a matter of common sense to add the 'e' and 'd' to it and voila! I got my 6-letter word!
'Fink' is a noun which means 'someone acting as an informer or decoy for the police.' And 'finked' obviously means 'spying for the police.'
I don't know. Maybe 'fink' is a common word but not by me. It was just something that came off the top of my head to stay in the game... a ridiculous wild guess, I even thought, something in the likes of 'folice' or 'frim and frofer'... hehe.
Now I would really be surfrised if I find that there is such a word as 'fanic.' Or 'fanicked?'
Oh flease!
Update: So there is such a word as 'fanic' after all. It means mortar or cement.
But even Google couldn't find 'fanicked.' So there.
