THE GAMBLER


So Valentine's day didn't go so bad. My cousin Alma and hubby Cesar took me out for lunch at the Asian Seafood Buffet in Roseville. Well, they had Japanese and Chinese dishes. I enjoyed the sushi/sashimi stuff as usual but I steered clear of the Chinese dishes cause I can't have anything Chinese while I'm missing Singapore so much.

And then we went to have just an hour of fun at the Thunder Valley Casino.

I had a great time!

Cesar gave me a hundred dollars to play with and I didn't want it to vanish too soon so we played the 5-cent machines.

I was doing fine for a while, playing 5 lines on 2 bets per line. I would win itsy bitsy points which would hardly cover the bets I put in. And then I got bored and started playing 10 lines on 3 bets per line, 20 lines on 2 bets and then 20 lines on max bet. Yeah, I was getting a bit cocky, playing with money that wasn't mine... hehe.

And then I decided to change machines, still on the 5-cent bets.

And then my luck turned.

On my first bet, 10 lines on 2 bets, I got 3 bonuses on line 20! And I don't know what happened next but the machine just asked me to keep on spinning, and spin I did. And then I saw the total winnings on the upper left corner coming up to 600 and 850, a thousand and finally, 1200 points.

And then it happened... I won $50!!!

Well, I guess I should have left it at that and cashed in my winnings. But then I guess it doesn't happen that way. So I played some more and well...

I brought home a total winning of $26.00.

But I was happy anyway. You see, I'm a real cheapo.
