I'M SORRY...
I know that you are not well and that you're having a hard time. But I cannot afford for you to indulge on anything right now. So I'm thinking, maybe if we give you enough and equal doses of rest and activity, you'd be alright. You'd heal yourself... bodies do that, don't they?... and you'll be alright.
Because I need you right now. You are so important to me at this point in time that you will just have to bear it and work with me here. I need to lose weight so I need to spend as much time as I can in the gym. And I am flat broke so I need to be able to go to work.
So my dear foot, I am so sorry but you will just have to find a way to forget about your selective sprain that only acts up when you're in a terry cloth slipper with no built-in insoles and work with me here. I will bear the discomfort of wearing my house shoes 24/7 cause that seems to be the only thing that works for you... do we have a deal?
I cannot bring you to my podiatrist. Are you kidding? Don't you know what they say? Now I'm a healthy girl with a sprained foot. If I go to the doctor, I'll be a sick girl with a sprained foot. No, thank you.

nung nasa heat pa si shaq at sumakit ang malaki nyang paa, sinabihan sya ng team physician to see a podiatrist. sabi ng kumag, what's a podiatrist? sagot ng physician, it's a foot doctor. sabi ulit ng kumag, you mean you don't call a foot doctor a foot doctor?
wala lang. pedicure, gusto mo?

ako man, ateng, masakit ang ilalim ng paa ko. I can't wear flat shoes na walang padding anymore. dapat either naka-heels na ako or talagang sobrang lambot ng sapatos ko. Hindi na ako pwedeng maglagay ng pressure dun sa back part na ilalim.
sabi ni bossing, tumatanda na raw kasi ako. eh sabi ko, kung tumatanda ako, bakit ang gusto ng paa ko naka-heels pa? hehehehe
hay naku, magkaibigan nga tayo.
Ate Sienna: hahaha! totoo nga? haaay, what a relief to know na hindi lang pala ako ang nakakaramdam nito. pero Ateng, di ako sold sa rationale ni bossing na tumatanda na kasi tayo ha. o e ano ang gagawin nilang mga lalaki pag sila ang dinapuan ng sakit na ito, magsosoot din sila ng heels?
o diba nga, subukan nilang sila ang mag-heels kundi sumakit lalo ang mga paa nila! (not to mention, hindi sila makakalakad.)
grabe, ateng... minsan nga kapag gumising ako ng umaga tapos unang lapag ng paa ko sa sahig, parang masakit syang ilapat. anoba... kakainis!!!
